What do you think of the new outfit?

In time for my inaugural hosting of Grand Rounds, I have decided that AppleQuack needs a new look. I hope you like our new style. Hopefully, it improves the accessibility of the site for users, and makes it a bit easier to access older posts. This theme, DeepBlue, was designed by Nathan Rice, and provided by Daily Blog Tips.

Although I think it is gorgeous, I understand others may not feel the same way. Please let me know in the comments what you think, and if there is any changes you would have me make.

Like it..very user friendly!

@purplesque: I am really liking it. Change is as good as a holiday. There are some really nice features in this theme that were missing in my old theme. Like a style sheet that works.

It looks great; very much an upgrade. I would switch the columns, though. With the AdSense ad in the most prominent position, I get the feeling as the reader that that’s the most important part of the page. Your ancillary items are being given as much prominence (if not more) than your actual content.

I am SO into blue for blogs - it is very relaxing on the eyes.
Just ask Shane (hi Shane) - he knows my penchant for blue!
LOL!

@Kim:
I like blue, too. The previous theme was blue, so I tried to carry that through.

@shane:
I thought about what you wrote and decided I agreed, so I have swapped the columns over. Thanks for the feedback.

I like it a lot! It puts the focus on your (very good) content.

@Shane:
Thanks. And thanks for your input. Gotta love a well-developed theme that makes it so easy to swap things around. Thumbs up to Nathan Rice.
