Weekly medical productivity Shout outs!
I have been reading some interesting stuff over the last couple of weeks, and have a couple of things to share.
- Merlin Mann on 43folders recently wrote about a neat technique of clarifying his next action and project. Think of a task like this:
I need to $FOO because I want to $BAR
$FOO becomes the next action and $BAR becomes the project. Read more about it in this post.
- Emerging Technologies Librarian has shared a great presentation of Online Outliners, Concept Mapping, Mindmapping, Graphic Organizers, etc. This is worth having a look at if you work online, or in a collaborative project. Some of these resources would be great for study groups.
- Finally, EfficientMD has written an interesting post suggesting some simple ways that Evernote can be used as a medical memory. I like the processes he suggests, and it has inspired me to think about ways surgeons and medical researchers can use Evernote. Stay tuned for those posts.
