New Media Medicine - a great site for medics in need of support
I must be very vague, as I have only just come across this great forum for medics. New Media Medicine is aimed at medics and medical students and offers great forums on all topics. Particularly good are the forums dedicated to different medical schools, including specific areas for UK, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and more. There is also a subject specific area aimed at medical students, which contains anatomy and evidence based medicine forums, excellent for those studying for post-graduate exams as well.
There are also a multitude of other resources, such as video procedure tutorials and there is even a section to set up a mini-blog. If you are into social networking, there is also a chat facility to keep up with your forum friends. It is worth a look for most medicos, particularly those in training.
