Mac tools for oncologists - a basic Chemo dose calculator
One of the complicated tasks o oncologists is to calculate chemotherapy doses. A Japanese oncologist, Yasunari Miyagi has made his own calculator available.
It calculates body surface area and body mass index from entered variables and calculates a chemo dose according to your preferred dose/m2 and AUC. It includes a calculator for carboplatin dosage, which uses your own preference of GFR calculation (24hr CrCl, Cockcroft, Jeriffe, Chatelaut formula).
It can be downloaded from his own site, but english speakers may prefer to download it from Apple.
