Still chasing the elusive surgical audit program for Mac.

I posted recently about the dearth of surgical audit programs for OSX. Since then, I have been offered demos of two of the available Aussie solutions. So hopefully, I will post a review here soon.

CMO global isn’t launching their system for a little while yet, but it apparently will be web-based. It is apparently supported by the College of Surgeons and has been developed in conjunction with them.

Surgbase turns out to be a program written in part by an old friend from Uni. It is written in Java and will be stable in OSX at some point. It is currently being tested in parallels/bootcamp, so I will have a look at that (it was actually developed in parallels, which is promising). Apparently, the screenshots on the website are not up to date, so I will retract my comments about the “look” of the program, and let you know once I have seen the new one.

Does anyone use any other software for audit?
