Science Slides 2008: Presentation images and templates for the biosciences

Science Slides 2008 is a set of biomedical slide templates that can be used in presentations, publications and lectures. There are a number of modules including biochemistry, pharmacology, scientific research methods, biology and molecular pathology.

I had a look through some of these slides and they look great - really professional. I know when I have to do a presentation for a conference, then I end up with a standard template with a University logo stuck in the corner, and images poached from my articles. That is sufficient for a project where you have nice images, but it sort of gets boring when your project data is not visual. Adding one or more of these slides to the background section would add sparkle.

Added value is the ability to use these images in research papers. That will raise those submissions a notch, and add polish to your posters as well. You can modify the slides and combine them with your own information for a more professional presentation.

The package costs $400 for the whole set, and less if you don’t want all modules. So this is the sort of package you would be looking for your University or department to purchase.

Look at sample slides here.
